The photo-monograph "Herzegovina – The Land of Light" by Ivo Pervan, Boris Ljubičić and Božo Skoko delights with its depiction of natural beauties, cultural sites, traditions, historical monuments, as well as scenes from everyday life of the urban and rural areas of Herzegovina. The book contains so-called mood photographs that speak about Herzegovina through the various seasons of the year, weather conditions, times of the day, representing its compelling charm and the beauty of the region. In a unique and unrepeatable manner, the book depicts Herzegovina as a region rich in diversity and opposites, tearing down stereotypes and revealing the hidden.

On 330 pages and with over 400 photographs of superior graphic quality, the book represents this mysterious region, which has, for centuries, inspired numerous artists and inventors, and inspires even today – regardless of whether we are talking about Mostar, Međugorje, Ljubuški, Rama, Široki Brijeg or Blidinje.

In creating this photo monograph, Ivo Pervan, Croatia's most eminent artistic photographer, traveled all over Herzegovina for a full two years, taking pictures of sunsets and sunrises during summer and winter, spring in bloom and plentiful autumns, as well as animals in nature. He took over five thousand photographs and has recorded this area for us for all times...

In addition to Ivo Pervan, as the photographer, and Božo Skoko, as the author of the text, putting his mark on the design of the monograph was Croatia's most prominent designer, Boris Ljubičić, who selected the photographs and assembled them into an attractive whole.
